Error Messages

  1. Desktop Application Loader - Invalid Content, Digital Signatures not valid This is an error message that you receive when you are on a Corporate BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) and the BES has turned on the policy - "Disable 3rd Party Applications" You are able to install programs using the Desktop Application Loader, but they will not run. You cannot get around it, but you can ask your BES admin if they can disable it. Bribes often work wonders. Be sure to mention that our games are a productivity increasing tool.
  2. Desktop Application Loader - No Other Applications Found This error occurs when you are using an older version of the Desktop Manager Software. Just download the latest version from http://www.blackberry.com/products/software/desktop/index.shtml and it will recognize the .alx files.
  3. HTTP ERROR: 406 Not Supported By Browser This is an error message that you receive when you are on a Corporate BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) and the BES has turned on the policy - "Disable 3rd Party Applications" You cannot download .jad and .jar files from our website. You cannot get around it, but you can ask your BES admin if they can disable it. Bribes often work wonders. Be sure to mention that our games are a productivity increasing tool.
  4. Error starting {game}: Null This is an error that occurs when there was a problem in the installiation of the game Over-The-Air. You can get by it by downloading the .zip file for the game and installing it through the Desktop Manager Software program.
  5. I get an error message that says: "907 Invalid Jar" when trying to install one of your games. What do I do now? We've noticed that some devices on a Corporate BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) were getting "907 Invalid Jar" errors. If this is happening to you, try using your "Internet Browser" or "WAP Browser" to do the download instead of the default "Blackberry Browser". This usually fixes the problem.
Alternately, you could download the games to your PC via http://www.magmic.com and install them using your USB cable.
  6. JVM 102 Error In order to fix the JVM 102 error, you need to plug your BlackBerry into your computer and run the Desktop Manager Software. You will need to have at least version 4.0 of the Desktop Manager Software, which you can find the latest version here:
    http://blackberry.com/products/software/desktop/index.shtml
What we are going to try and do, is remove the file that caused the BlackBerry to crash.
    1. Load up the Desktop Manager Software, and then load up the Application Loader. Click NEXT, then NEXT. The screen should be a list of applications, like BlackBerry OS, Korean Language Files, Brick Breaker, and our Magmic games.
    2. If there are no games there, you will need to ADD them. Get the game files from the individual game pages. Click the TRY IT NOW button to do download the .zip file, and add each one into the application loader. Make sure they are checked OFF to remove them from the device.
    3. Click NEXT, have it backup, then click FINISH. This should technically wipe your BlackBerry, and then reinstall everything, and remove the offending file.
    4. If there is nothing in the Application Loader, you're going to have to download the latest version of the BlackBerry OS from your Provider's website. Usually, you go to Support, then BlackBerry, then BlackBerry Software Upgrades. That link will take you to the BlackBerry Website, and will ask you to download a file approximately 35 megs in size.
    5. After you download that file, and then install it on your computer, the Desktop Application Loader will allow you to see the files located on the BlackBerry Device. Go to step #1.
